Welcome to The Olympic Voice -your connection to the people, programs, and passion driving the olympic Movement across Solomon Islands. Each edition brings you updates from the secretariat, member sport federations, our national athletes,coaches and rest of the olympic sporting community. The Newsletter covered activities that were delivered quarterly and circulated to member federations.
This year the opening quarter of 2026 has been an inspiring start for the National Olympic Committee of Solomon Islands (NOCSI).From global connections to local celebrations, our activities have reflected the strength and unity of our sporting community.
One of the key highlights was the King's Baton Relay, which proudly linked Solomon Islands to the wider Commonwealth Games movement.
Our sport federations also took part in regional and international events. In governance, NOCSI successfully conducted
the Athletes'Commission election, ensuring that athlete voices remain central to decision-making. We also joined the world in commemorating International Women's Day, reaffirming our commitment to empowering women and promoting inclusivity in sport.
